"Scrolls"

A simple Morrowind MOD, even simpler than "Potions" (Which you really should download! *hint hint*)

***********************

First of all, thank you for downloading this mod!

Mod Size (Plug-in and new graphics): 427k
(Less if zipped)

Time Completed= Late August, 2002

Release= v1.0

Installation:

1) Extract the "Scrolls" .esp plug-in file to your Data Files folder just like every other Morrowind mod.

2) Extract the "Customscrolls" folder into the "Icons" folder which is within Data Files.

The reason the zip is so big is because this mod is based entirely on these icon graphics!

***********************

Function:
-To give a brand new series of item icons for scrolls so that you can tell easily at a glance the effects of each one from the icon they have.
-To get rid of the annoyance of scrolling through your magic items and not being able to identify easily what scroll you want to use.

Features:
-Every scroll has a new icon, but many are not unique, as scrolls have similar effects, like causing fire damage.
-The icons are pretty. I rendered them all in 3dstudioMAX2.5 and shrunk them and edited them in Paint Shop Pro 7 to make them visually pleasing.
-There are 89 new icon graphics altogether (Approx)

Game World Changes:
-In the Census and Excise Offices when you hand over your papers and get your mission, Sellus Gravius' desk now has a scroll of Alsmivi Intervention, as well as a chest next to it containing a useful scroll of healing and one of unlocking. I thought it would helpful to have a couple of simple items like this if you were a new player.

***********************

-All icons were made in 3DstudioMAX2.5, and edited in Paint Shop Pro 7. THey use icons from the game in order to communicate their effects.

-The colour of the scroll indicates what kind of magic it confers. Blue scrolls restore, for example, and red ones cause destruction.

I did make a "Potions" mod as well and hope that you consider downloading that too! (It's better than this one, I promise!)

Thank you again for downloading this mod!
